Charlotte Street has really blossomed in recent years. Among its many good bars and restaurants is Andrea's, a haven of fantastic Greek food since 1962. Run by the amiable Constantinides family, this traditional-looking restaurant has a genuinely nice, cosy feel. It helps that there are several regulars among the informal crowd, which includes the occasional celebrity. Burgundy upholstered seating and matching carpet are spread across two floors. Best-selling dishes include moussaka, monkfish and the delicious kleftigo (oven-roasted lamb shank). Lots of veggie dishes, and a good list of fine Greek and Cypriot wines as well as French, Italian and Australian wines. Best table is no.10 in front of the double French doors, overlooking a small terrace for sipping ouzo when the sun's out.

Andrea's is suitable for business lunches/dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties, conferences and get-togethers with friends and family. There are a total of 70 covers, though more can be catered for at a reception. Up to 14 can sit together at one table. A pretty terrace area can seat eight people. Upstairs in the Pink Room, 15 to 38 of you can eat and be merry, or 20 to 50 of you can stand and be merry. Smaller than the main restaurant, the private room is dominated by an ornate Georgian ceiling. If you're hiring a floor exclusively, you're welcome to organise your own entertainment.
